Questions about the rental spreadsheet
What is included in the workbook?
It includes instructions and assumptions, a product and rate table, serialized units, rental orders, allocations, return checks and a compact control view. Fictional sample rows demonstrate current and exception states.
Does the spreadsheet prevent overlapping reservations?
It flags known conflicts from the included rows and dates, but it is not a transactional booking engine. Simultaneous edits, copied formulas or incomplete rows can invalidate the result.
Can I change the rates?
Yes. Daily, weekly and monthly inputs are editable. Review the formulas and replace the examples with your own approved pricing rules. Tax, deposits, discounts and accounting entries are outside the workbook.
When should we move from Excel to an App?
Move when several people need controlled input, live unit records, review tasks, return evidence, permissions or dependable history. Jodoo can import working data, but migration still requires mapping and testing.
Is the workbook connected to the sample Jodoo App?
No. It is a standalone English XLSX asset. The App demonstrates the connected next step; downloading the workbook does not create or synchronize Jodoo records.
