How is AV rental different from general equipment rental?
A show usually needs a complete working package, not one isolated item. The useful record connects the event window and venue to projectors, speakers, stands, cables, remotes, power and approved substitutes.
Can the App manage reusable AV kits?
Yes. Define expected kit contents, allocate serialized units where identity matters, and record the actual items dispatched. A kit definition should not hide a missing cable or substituted model.
What should a show-prep view display?
Show the event, load-out deadline, required products, allocated units, shortages, substitutions, prep owner and unresolved tests. Staff should be able to distinguish “reserved” from “tested and ready.”
How are missing accessories handled on return?
Record which accessory is missing against the rental and exact unit or kit. Keep affected equipment unavailable when the missing item prevents the next complete package.
Does Jodoo include warehouse scanning or production scheduling?
The example does not claim dedicated barcode-scanning hardware, crew scheduling or route planning. Those can be designed or integrated when required; test the exact workflow before relying on it.
